Kasaoka, Okayama, Japan｜Men-ya Maru

I've been curious about this ramen shop right next to the bridge. It was a weekday (Monday), but the store was full at noon and I was guided to a tent-like space outside. The rich and flavorful soup, the melty char siu, and the special noodles (a bit like flat noodles) were so delicious that I devoured them in no time! Honestly, I think this is the most delicious Chinese soba I've had around here. There is a parking space for about 4 cars next to the store, but it fills up quickly and there is a lot of traffic on the road, so please be careful when parking.

2020.2020.3.28 I visited when I heard that a new store opened after Miyama closed. When I went inside, it still had a nostalgic atmosphere. I ordered Chinese soba noodles for 650 yen and chashu rice bowl for 350 yen. (There was no teppanyaki fried rice that someone else posted, so the side menu may change regularly.) The ramen was served first in about 5 minutes, and the chashu bowl came soon after. Onomichi ramen with two slices of char siu, soft-boiled egg, green onions, and back oil. When you sip the soup, you can feel the flavor of the soy sauce and dashi and it is delicious. The chashu rice bowl was a perfect size mini bowl for me, and it was also delicious. While eating alternately, I quickly finished the soup and finished the meal. I would like to come back to eat there again. thank you for the food. I've wanted to come here for a long time. And, after all, "It's delicious!" It's more than I imagined. This noodle, soup, texture, heat! ! Although the maximum number of people in the store is 10, the atmosphere of this hut is irresistible. I think it's a taste that you will never regret.
