My friend recommended this restaurant. I went during dinner time and luckily only three or four people lined up, and I could look at the menu in advance and decide what to order, so I was able to get in and eat quickly. There are not many seats in the store, and the vibe is very good. You can see the chef cooking directly, which I personally quite enjoy. I ordered one特製つけ麺 with a side order of大盛. The noodles were very al dente and really had a distinctive flavor. 厚切りベーコンand チャーシュー were particularly flavorful, and the dipping sauce was very tasty and went well with the pork and noodles! I will visit again next time I'm in Kobe!

Come early and sign up for a specific time slot as there is usually a line. Came at 12, and filled out the 2:15 slot. Amazing tsukumen. Was very surprised about the quality and the portions. The texture of the tsukumen was perfect. It had a chewiness that was not too hard or too soft. Paired nicely with the dipping soup. Would definitely go again. Their grilled pork was also good, and will visit again.

First time getting off at JR Rokkomichi. Since it's called Rokko, isn't there anything further up the mountain? That's what I thought, but when I got off the station, I was surprised to find that it was a quiet town. It is lined with tall apartment buildings, and there is a grassy plaza in the center, as well as many restaurants. I had something to do in town, but it got canceled at the last minute...I was wondering what to do when I found this store. It's a popular restaurant that has been selected as one of Tabelog's top 100 restaurants, and since I came to Rokkomichi, I headed there to try it out. It was about 30 minutes after opening and there was no line and only about 3 people waiting, so we had plenty of time! That's what I thought for a moment. There was a waiting board in front of the store, and it seemed like everyone wrote their names on it and moved to another location. Around 11:30, the next opening was at 1:15 p.m. By the way, the waiting board has a designated space for you to write your name every 30 minutes, so even if you go somewhere, it's easy to know when you'll be back. We also wrote our names and went out to the cafe to kill time. When you come back around 1pm, the staff will ask you for your order in advance. Once inside, buy a meal ticket, hand it to the staff, and wait for your bowl to arrive. ◎Abara dried sardines mazesoba The brightly colored mazesoba containing chashu pork, onions, chives, green onions, menma, nuts, and egg yolk is beautiful just by looking at it. Crush the eggs, mix and mix until mushy about 30 times. The fragrant scent that wafts out every time you mix it is the best. The noodles are a little thick and firm! The flavor is quite strong and sticks well to the noodles. The best part about Mazesoba is that it combines a variety of flavors, including the egg yolk that makes the strong flavor milder and the spices that add excitement. However, what impressed me the most was the chashu. The soft pork chashu is so soft that it falls apart when you put it in your mouth. I was so impressed by how delicious the braised pork belly was. Although Tsukemen is a specialty, I love mazesoba so I tried the mazesoba and it was really good. I think the tsukemen would be really delicious with this...I want to try it again. Thank you for the meal!
