Onomichi, Hiroshima, Japan｜Onomichi Ichiban

The soup is awesome. Love it. Very satisfying meal.

I used it when driving. I received a large serving of chashu men. The chewy noodles went well with the sweet soup with floating back fat and it was delicious. The char siu was well seasoned and I was satisfied. They have a wide variety of menus other than ramen, and seem to have been open as a local Chinese restaurant for many years. I had a pleasant meal with courteous customer service.

The store has a Showa era atmosphere. If you want to eat Onomichi ramen, this is a restaurant you can go to with your kids. I went there with small children, and there was a tatami room, and there were bowls, spoons, and forks for small children, which was nice. The fried rice was delicious. The staff was also very helpful with the application process.
