Onomichi, Hiroshima, Japan｜Ramen Matatabi

Absolutely delicious, and the owner is extremely kind. I felt so welcomed and was really grateful that he was willing to try to converse in Japanese with me even though he spoke English, because I have a long ways to go :p. Immaculate vibes. Love that the ramen uses natural ingredients, too. My trip to Onomichi was worth it just to have found this place.

Great ramen, great sides, really fun & friendly vibe, cheap as hell, amazing place. Everything we had tasted amazing and we left with a bunch of friends to go on to our next destination in the hood. You can stand and eat outside too, which is fun.

Takaya (the chef and owner of the restaurant) is just a genius! Amazing place with amazing ramen! The vibe, music, place… everything was a beautiful and unforgettable experience! Best place in onomichi 💜 btw there’s also vegan ramen option 🫶 (nuri-chan from Barcelona)
