I came to Manmen-tei after a long absence. I really like the store's design, which gives off a retro Showa era atmosphere. Limited to the summer of 2023, chilled Dandan noodles are a taste of evolution. For the past few years, Manmentei has been offering a variety of seasonal cold noodles during the summer. The last two years they served zaru ramen, but this year they have served chilled tandan noodles. I went to eat right away. Ingredients are bean sprouts, vegetable salad, green onions, chili peppers, nuts, ground meat, and egg yolk. It has a lot of vegetables and is very healthy. It has a large amount of ground meat and is a sufficient source of protein. The egg yolk adds depth of nutrition and flavor. The soup has a lightness that is almost light, but the sesame seeds give it a richness. This has a lot of chili pepper in it. Even people who can't handle spicy food can eat it, and it has a perfect amount of spiciness that will appeal to people who crave spiciness. The bean sprouts are flavored with sesame oil, which adds depth to the soup. Mr. Goto told me to mix it thoroughly before eating, so when I mixed it together, the various ingredients blended into one, creating an extremely integrated feeling. Today was the rainy season, so we took care not to let it get too cold. In conclusion, I have to say that Manmentei is the best ramen restaurant that serves original cold noodles. All of the restaurants have almost the same menu as last year, but Manmentei has shown remarkable evolution every year. The inside of the store is lively and nice with young staff serving customers. I ate the yuzu-scented aburi salt ramen. It went great with the soup and was really delicious 🍜 The restaurant was retro and nice ✨ I'll be going again ☺️
