I've been to Gifu Prefecture several times, but each time I've been unable to stop by Viet Cong Ramen. I really want to try it this time! And to this Karaku-san. When I arrived after 11 o'clock on a weekday, the parking lot was already full. I'm waiting. You enter the store, buy a ticket at the ticket machine, and wait. After a while, the staff will collect your ticket and call you if a seat becomes available. This time, we have Miso Viet Cong Ramen (1,100 yen), Soy Sauce Viet Cong Ramen (1,050 yen), and Half Fried Chicken (450 yen). Miso Viet Cong has a dark red miso base and is spicy and delicious. The noodles are thick and minced. The soy sauce Viet Cong noodles are curly thin noodles with pork belly. It's also spicy and delicious. Both have lots of garlic in them and have a great punch. The fried chicken was piping hot and crispy and delicious even without adding anything. If anything, perhaps because many people order miso Viet Cong, the miso Viet Cong arrived first, and then the soy sauce Viet Cong arrived quite a while later. (I think I ate about half of it?) That's a bit disappointing. There was a Kimutaku sign at the counter seat, and everyone was taking pictures. On the wall was a colored paper signed by Hideaki Ito. It seems like they are currently on hiatus for fried rice, so I would like to try it again if I have a chance to go again.

Kimutaku-san was visiting, so I was curious about it, and it looked delicious from the photos, so I went to try it out. The parking lot was so crowded that there was a security guard, and I think we could park about 12 cars. I waited 30 minutes outside, then 30 minutes inside before being seated. Since we had a meal ticket system and had given it to the staff in advance, the food arrived soon after we were seated. I had miso Viet Cong, soy sauce Viet Cong, half fried chicken, and small rice, but the miso had medium thick curly noodles and the soy sauce had thin curly noodles, and the taste was completely different. I think it varies from person to person, but I think soy sauce tastes better. The soy sauce has oil floating on top, so it stays piping hot until the end, which might be harsh on the cat tongue lol. I think you need a towel if you sweat lol As you can see from the fried chicken, it was absolutely delicious! ! I would like to go again ^ ⁠^⁠
