Kakamigahara, Gifu, Japan｜oden seiji

This is was an accidental find as we finished touring Inuyama Castle. We were hungry and google located this exceptional establishment about 20 mins walk from Inuyama Castle. Small area and very comfy ambience. You will be served by a very busy owner as he cooks for you and serve you from every thing e.g., drinks, ramen, fried rice, karaage and beers. Really awesome food and must to try when you are here in Inuyama. But do note, the seating area is small and be patient as the owner is super busy.

Great cost performance! Fried rice is delicious! Karaage is delicious! Stamina ramen with lots of garlic! If I go to Kakamigahara, I want to come back! It's nice to see that both the store and the kitchen are kept clean!

I visited from Google Maps. As mentioned elsewhere, it seems that it takes a lot of time depending on the timing because it is a one-off surgery, but I personally felt comfortable with the smile of the husband and the atmosphere where he is working hard. The soup has a gentle taste, and it might be perfect after playing at the public pool next door in the summer! This time I ordered the Ankake Ramen set, but I really wanted to try the fried rice so I ordered an additional one. (Sorry I'm busy...) But I asked and it was the right answer! Although it looks simple, you can really feel the flavor and richness of the chashu and it was very delicious! It tasted so good that I think it would be good to have a fried rice set next time! I don't usually order fried rice, but I think I'll order it every time here!
