Joetsu, Niigata, Japan｜Ramen Shop Ogata

Just went here this Sunday afternoon. I guess they were short on staff cause there is only 1 staff serving and cooking at the same time which is why the order took longer than I expected. He was nice and polite though. With that said the ramen was really good. I ordered the medium sized black vinegar ramen. The flavour was savoury and a bit sour which I like and the soup was thick. I would like to try the tsukemen next time.

After buying a meal ticket, it is a style to be seated! This time, I added a numbness ball as a topping to the green onion miso pork noodles (regular). The white-haired green onions are crunchy, and the char siu and chewy noodles are a perfect match! The backfat is also effective! Adding the numbness ball gave it a slightly spicier flavor, and it was delicious! Even if it is average, the amount is large, so I am satisfied! It's a restaurant that you want to visit regularly (*^^*)
