I really enjoyed it. The broth with dried fish and the fragrant noodles made from wheat flour, along with the delicious chashu, were all wonderful. The restaurant was very clean, and I felt that they take good care of it. I'd like to go back again.

I have also been to Matoi in Shinbashi, but this is my second visit to this Fudo-mae store. I dropped off a ticket for a large serving of rich tsukemen (1,000 yen) + onion (120 yen), and 10 minutes later, the bowl arrived. The soup is made from chicken or pork, and it had a really rich flavor, but it also felt a little salty. I like rich soups, but I would like to adjust the saltiness a little more. The noodles seemed to contain whole grain flour and were a little thinner than medium-thick noodles, so I didn't feel like they mixed well with the soup. I personally think it could be thicker.
