Friendly server (like everywhere else I have been to in Japan). Great value. Had the bowl with miso soup. Loved the texture of the ramen (from Hokkaido). Soup was tasty with just the right level of saltiness.

Visited at opening time of 10:30. Visitors come to the store one after another at opening time, and you can see how popular it is. Pork miso ramen 950 yen (tax included) Purchased at a ticket machine. I came to this store for the first time in several years, but I was surprised that the price of ramen was the same as before. While most ramen shops are raising their prices due to rising raw material and labor costs, miso ramen is only 650 yen! Of course, it comes with thick char siu. I ate at this store after a long time, but it's still delicious❗️ Nostalgic taste of soup and curly egg noodles. This is the only store that offers the same delicious ramen no matter when you come. This time I ordered char siu miso ramen, but you can see it. 5 pieces of thick char siu and a boiled egg for less than 1,000 yen❗️ There is no ramen shop like this nowadays🥹 The char siu was flaky, and it had a light finish instead of the strong seasoning that was used in the past, so I was able to finish it without getting tired of it. It's extremely high quality. As an aside... I used to go to Kobayashiya frequently more than 20 years ago when the number of stores started to increase, but the nearby stores suddenly lost their flavor or closed down, and I became estranged. The owner of this store is definitely great. Most Kobayashiyas are delicious when they first open. However, as the days go by, the taste is obviously getting worse. The nearby Ninomiya store is a good example. Although it went out of business a few years ago, it's a family business with a clear lack of attention to customer service and ramen making. As a result, the number of customers decreased and the business was closed. Now there is only this store nearby that keeps the taste and deliciousness unchanged, but I hope that it will continue to operate for many repeat customers. I always stop by for lunch twice a year, when I go to Yugawara for the night and when I return home. Miso has a stable taste, and this time I ate salt, which was also delicious. The presentation is beautiful and the cost performance is great!
