Odawara, Kanagawa, Japan｜Machidashoten Odawara

After walking all over the Odawa Station area checking out the shops, we decided to try this "no ramen no life" shop. This is the first time we met a staff in a Japanese outlet who can convers well in English with us. Oh, she is from the Philippines but most importantly, she is very polite, friendly and helpful and told us that we can ask for less saltiness, Anyone visiting Odawa should try this ramen shop. Like all other food chain outlets, purchases are through a machine, ie, put in money first, then select the food and pass the coupon to the staff.

I ordered the max ramen from the ticket machine. Service was fast and helpful, even though the server couldn't speak much English, it wasn't an issue. Ticket machine takes 10k bank notes as well which is useful if you're low on change too.

Friendly staff, there is person that can translate if you have difficulty with the menu but I doubt anyone will have problem since the menu is translated on the vending machine. The food is amazing, you can choose how strong you want it too!
