The noodle shop downstairs is delicious and the staff is very helpful.

I visited on a weekend night around 5:30pm. The number of customers is about 70%. Vegetables are sold at the entrance of this store. And it's cheap! I was about to buy some long green onions after this photo, but the person coming out of the store grabbed it because of the difference in touch. Too bad! . So, I ordered mixed fries and sanmamen. The mixed fries include 2x fried oysters, 1x fried shrimp, 1x fried white fish, and 2x squid rings, all freshly fried and crispy. The amount of rice is relatively large, so I think it's a satisfying balance with the price. Sanmamen doesn't have the same visual impact as tanmen, but it has enough bean paste to make the vegetables crunchy and stay piping hot until the end.

October 22, 2023 Marutomo for the first time in half a year. I had tanmen (880 yen) and Marutomo lunch (+180 yen). I think 1,060 yen is reasonable for this volume. Tanmen is piled high with vegetables until you get to the noodles. The vegetables also have a lot of flavor. Last year, I was working around here, so it was once a week. The main dish was tanmen, but I think the yakisoba, kakuni, and mapo fried rice were also delicious. When I tried to put my baggage under the table, the waitress brought me a basket and asked me to use it, which made me happy. There was no bad atmosphere as others have written. The kitchen seemed really busy.
