I happened to be passing by on the opening day and saw a bouquet of flowers celebrating Big Boss, so I finally went to Ikkakuya. Coincidentally, the 11th of every month is Ikkakuya's Day, so a bowl of ramen is priced at 550 yen. I don't know how much it usually costs, but it felt like a great deal. There was quite a line, but I was told that I had to buy a meal ticket before lining up. It was helpful that you told me this early, but I would like you to make it clear (^-^; Maybe ramen soup is mellow in your family? Since the rice is all you can eat, I was very satisfied when I had it as ramen rice. There were plenty of condiments on the table, including chopped onions, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, and pepper. The rice comes with salmon furikake, wasabi furikake, and cucumber, but it was delicious with the garlic and pepper on the table and the ramen soup.

The flavor is home-grown and strong, but it's just right and the char siu is also delicious. The rice is free and you can get any refills. Mentaiko rice is also delicious with plenty of mentaiko.
