Toda, Saitama, Japan｜Kourakuen

It's a taste of the Showa era. I think this is one of the few shops that stubbornly preserves the taste of ramen from the past. For some reason, when I eat the ramen at this restaurant, it reminds me of Drifters' "It's 8 o'clock! Everyone must meet up" (lol). I haven't eaten at Korakuen for the past 4 or 5 years. My friend in the car wanted to eat ramen at this store, so I waited in the car. Therefore, It's a delicious restaurant, but I've been addicted to Jiro Ramen lately, so I don't know how Korakuen's taste has changed. Right now, I'm impressed by the oiliness of the pork bone soy sauce, the amount of noodles, the crunchy vegetables, and the crunchy garlic. For the same price as Korakuen, you'll be full to death (the amount of noodles at Korakuen is 1.8 times the difference in the amount of noodles at Jiro, which uses whole wheat flour), but it's better than regular ramen with a smaller portion. Even though it's delicious, I can't move my fingers. For the same price of soy sauce ramen as Korakuen, Jiro Ramen has about twice the amount (super large) of regular ramen. In the current economic climate, I think Jiro ramen is more filling than Korakuen's ramen, so I don't think I'll ever eat it again. However, it's delicious ramen, so I recommend it for quick bites or to satisfy your hunger. I stopped eating it simply because of the price and quantity.

Visited with my wife around 15:00 on Saturday. The table seats are wide and good. The order is a touch panel method. First of all, a 2-piece set of sake and snacks. For alcohol, you can choose from canned beer, lemon sour, or highball. Add a little snacks, char siu, soft-boiled egg and bamboo shoots. Lemon sour is a lemon sour of a discerning bar and has a sense of stability. To finish, Chinese noodles, garlic-flavored green onion and salt mixed noodles, and half-fried rice. Why is there no regular fried rice? Alcohol and small plates are brought by the store clerk, and the main dish is brought by the serving robot. Chuka soba is an orthodox traditional soy sauce ramen. Simple and delicious. Much better than rival stores. Mazesoba and semi-fried rice are equally delicious. The store is clean and has a good impression.

After all, Chinese soba is the best!
