The absolute best ramen. Not just in Kawagoe, but in all of Saitama! The broth has a deep pork flavor, the eggs and noodles are great, and the gyouza and rice are all high quality. Even the staff are all passionate and courteous. If it's your first time try the normal standard ramen bowl to experience the broth. You've got to try it at least once. The spicy Tan-tan-men is a great second option.

If you come to Kawagoe during lunch time, you must visit this ramen shop. This is Iekei Ramen, and the name ❝Goyo❞ probably comes from the number of sheets of seaweed in the ramen. There is a ticket vending machine on the left as soon as you enter the entrance, you buy a meal ticket, and when you hand the ticket to the staff, you inform them of the hardness of the noodles and the thickness of the soup. Water is self-service. There is no parking lot, but there are many coin parking lots nearby. There are other family-run ramen shops in Kawagoe City, but I will continue to go there with all my heart.
