After finishing work near Hanyu Station, I thought I would have lunch at a Chinese restaurant in town, so I googled it on Maps and went to Karaku for the first time. I went in thinking it was a normal Chinese restaurant, but I was intrigued by the king ramen on the menu, which has morokhiya mixed into the noodles and wontons, so I ordered king ramen and fried rice. Does it smell green? Just like the green crystal noodles made with seaweed, the noodles had no odor and had a chewy texture that was delicious. The fried rice has a native Chinese feel. Naruto or Kamaboko? Fried rice with lots of ingredients. Although I wasn't able to take a photo, there was a round zodiac fortune teller that was common in old town Chinese restaurants and popular restaurants on the table, and it was full of typical Showacho Chinese restaurant touches. I don't have many opportunities to go to Hanyu, but I'll be visiting again soon for work, so I'd like to visit again.
