You can order from the ramen slot machine and the shop also offers English menus. The owner was incredibly thoughtful to all the customers by helping foreigners and providing bibs to protect your clothes. I ordered the spicy miso ramen and it was incredibly rich, creamy, and full of umami. The chashu and ajitama were so soft and tender that they practically melted in my mouth. This was my peak ramen experience during my trip.

Stopped in here on our first night in Kyoto. OMG so good. And the owner was so helpful as we ordered. Sign says limited English but we found he spoke quite well.

Best ramen we had in Japan. We came for dinner and there was only 2 other customers in there. I'm not sure why other than this location seemed to be a bit off the main road. I got the spicy miso ramen and the depth of miso flavor was unbelievable. I like mild spice, this was not too spicy at all. I think the amount of great toppings took it to another level. If you are in Kyoto and get the craving for amazing ramen in a casual environment, come here.
