Yakitori stand turned ramen stand in Kofu. Their speciality is the chicken ramen, which, is one of the best ramen I’ve ever had. We tried the Tori paitan (murky soup) and the Tori shio (clear/salt flavor), with a aside of Karaage. The paitan is not like the conventional, that tend to be fatty and heavier consistency- this one is light and airy with a deep layer of broth. The noodles are a little thicker compared to the clear soup ramen for more soup/noodle action. The clear shio ramen also has a deep broth taste, presented so simply and beautifully. The salt taste is to perfection; no strong zing of salt but just a mild explosion of taste from start to finish. I easily finished the soup. Staff are extremely friendly. We came for dinner and did the nabe set course. I have one friend who is allergic to onions and I don't eat meat, but the restaurant had no problem accommodating! They were wonderful and the food was delicious! I can't wait to come back here again!
