The best ramen in Wakayama? This shop is award winning and highly rated so expect to wait +30 minutes at peak times and weekends. They serve kotteri (thick soup) Wakayama ramen and some other types too including soy sauce, chicken and hormone. There are many options for customisation of your ramen. The basic Wakayama Ramen is 800 yen and I paid +200 yen for more pork slices. They also serve rice bowls - shirasu (white bait), mentaiko (cold roe) and chyashu (pork) but I would just stick with the ramen (if you are hungry you can order a double portion of noodles for +100 yen) They also have a shop in Kintetsu department store at JR Wakayama station but this is the original shop so it's worth the trip to Arida.
