Wakayama, Japan｜Men-ya Miyabi

I visited on a night in November 2023. It is under construction and has scaffolding, making it a little difficult to see at night. It's a so-called Jiro-style ramen restaurant, with no regular holidays. There is often a line at this type of store, but I was able to enter without waiting. There is also a luggage storage area.

At the Jiro restaurants I've been to, the "small" here was "large", so when I ordered "large" by mistake, the owner confirmed and I got the size I wanted. I did. thank you. Actually, I've never been to Jiro itself, but out of all the Jiro restaurants I've been to, I think it's the easiest one. It's easy to eat. Also, it takes a long time from when you sit down to when you come out (turnover is slow). I'm happy to be able to eat delicious Jiro-style food. I'll come back later!

Little pig it's amazing,,, The rumor that he is the closest to Jiro in Kansai's Jiro lineage is true. The noodles were made with a low amount of water and got better as they absorbed the soy sauce, the pork was probably made with udé meat so you could enjoy a variety of textures, and the soup was made with broth coming out of the meat.It was a bowl that reminded me of the Jiro restaurants in Meguro and Koshigaya. I thought there was room for improvement in operations. For first-timers, it may be difficult to understand how to line up and what to call. I thought that if the store prepared a bulletin board, it would save a lot of time for customer service. I'm happy to have found the taste that I used to eat when I lived in Kanto and that I missed so much. I will go eat again
