Kyoto, Japan｜Gion Duck Noodles

Beat the queue and came for early dinner at 5pm. Enjoyed the vibes, food and service here. The duck noodles was fantastic. The duck meat was sweet and soft. The egg was also cooked perfectly with a runny centre core. Noodles was the right bite. My partner had the dry duck noodles with orange dipping sauce and it was wonderful also. Service was great, staff even took time to explain and introduce the dish.

Amazing duck broth! Great noodles made in house. Eggs are cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, they didn't have dipping noodles when we had lunch there. Wine... Just don't order it! Japanese beer is very good.

My family and I had the wonderful experience of going to this lovely restaurant where they handled the food with such precision and care. The two chefs were excellent and the nice woman attending made the experience all in all better. Very humble people might I add. All in all this was a perfect meal for my last night in Kyoto! Please note that the ramen one of the duck pieces was after I moved it and I realized I forgot to take a picture. When given the food the presentation is beautiful and tidy
