Anytime we visit Nagoya, we must visit Ippudo. We haven't yet tried any ramen we don't like, but we always get extra chyashu - its incredible here!

Cool place with variety of ramen choices

There is also Ippudo in Nagoya! I was a heavy user when I lived in Tokyo, and I'm still a heavy user even though I live in Nagoya! The taste never changes no matter when you ask! Shiromaru is, of course, the classic tonkotsu ramen, with just the right thickness so you can drink the entire soup to the last without any odor. I always order the noodles with ``harigane'' hardness. If it remains powdery, it will mix better with the soup. In fact, the fried rice at this restaurant is also delicious! Personally, I think it's far more delicious than the fried rice from a famous ramen chain in Aichi. If you have extra rice and your stomach has room, be sure to try the fried rice as well. By the way, the manager here is a young woman, but she has very good customer service, pays close attention to everyone around her, and I always feel that she is very good at running operations. The reason why the restaurants are delicious is because of their customer service!
