Personally, this is THE BEST ramen in Nagoya. I have been coming here for around 20 years and it is consistently good. Don’t be put off by the somewhat ramshackle vibe, that’s part of the experience! The chashu ( pork topping) is awesome! Here the owner uses natural ingredients and you won’t get oily MSG or chemicals in your food. They don’t speak English but often have foreign patrons so they are not put off if you can’t speak Japanese. Parking is available. Closed Wednesdays!

Friendly old lady and nice neighborhood cluttered vibe. Good shoyu ramen with thick chashu

It's close to where I live, but I've never been there before, but I was curious, so I went. I asked for 1000 yen because the proprietress who talked a lot recommended a large serving of Chinese noodles. I didn't know if it was a neutral tone, but unlike the color of the soup, it was light but deep. After that, the toppings, char siu, and eggs are all homemade and quite elaborate and excellent. The proprietress was talking so much that I couldn't taste it and eat it, but the taste is delicious and please try it once.
