This is a ramen shop in Iga-cho, Okazaki City. The location is along Prefectural Route 56, on the same premises as Komeda Coffee Okazaki Iga branch. There is a large parking lot in front of the store that is shared with Komeda. The restaurant has counter seats, table seats, and tatami seats, so it can be used by individuals as well as families with small children. The posters on the walls and the displays inside the store give you a nostalgic atmosphere from the Showa era, and the always cheerful customer service from the store staff is also pleasant! There is a manga corner at the entrance, which also has popular works, so it's a good place to read while waiting. The lineup includes a variety of elaborately designed ramen, including the classics ``Showa Yatai Chinese Soba'' and ``Tonkotsu Shirathu,'' as well as the popular ``Ikkokudo Style Ikei'' and ``Taiwan Ramen.'' Personally, I also like the ``Taiwan Karaage'', which has the perfect amount of spiciness and sweetness. However, this time I decided to take on a new challenge, so I ordered the "Oni Kara Noodles" which was one of the most eye-catching on the menu! ! You can tell how spicy it is by its bright red appearance, but to be honest, it was so spicy that it made me cough the moment I took a bite... However, as I continued to eat it, I became addicted to the richness of the spiciness and the umami of the pork bone base, and before I knew it, I had eaten it all! My order was: 昭和屋台の中華そば ¥750 Shōwa yatai no chūka soba It's a Ramen based on shoyu broth, the broth has a mild flavor, and comes with a slice of chassu that melts in your mouth, egg, pickled bamboo shoots and chives. I've been going to this restaurant specializing in ramen for years and it has always maintained its quality. On the menu there are several ramen options, shoyu broth-based ramen, tonkotsu and spicy ramen. The environment and service are good. I recommend it, the ramen is delicious and the prices are average.
