I'm so used to medium noodles in ichiran but here it's definitely too soft, stick to the extra firm next time.

The soup has a deep, savory flavor that goes so well with the “kata” or “hard” noodle hardness. I recommend the garlic topping where you crush your own fresh garlic right into it. Love that you can sit at a table that is right next to the kitchen. Pictures are allowed and it’s a fun atmosphere with its (rock and roll?) music. Even the free pickled produce they have at the side are very good. A friend was disappointed it wasn’t very spicy with the dollop of paste in the center. It seems to have sank to the bottom so we had a surprise kick as we sipped the soup.

Delicious! Extra serving of Chashu comes with 5(!) slices. An english menu is available and the staff is totally kids friendly. Our son was even gifted a bag of sweets. Highly recommended!
