My first Takeoka-style ramen. Mr. Sakuna. I was always worried about how many people were lining up when I passed by, but I was finally able to stop by. I ordered chashu men. I ended up putting a large piece of char siu on top of a pile of char siu that was the same size as chopped onions, and was overwhelmed! I don't like raw onions, but these crunchy onions are easy to eat without any pungency and are delicious! The soup was thick, as it was made from Takeoka-style char siu soup, but I was grateful that I could adjust the thickness by freely adding broth. If you don't like strong flavors, feel free to mix it up with soup. Also, grated garlic and ginger are free toppings. This is a service where you can ask the staff and they will bring it to you on a small plate. After leaving the restaurant, I learned that this restaurant is also famous for its fried rice.
