More Comments at Google MapThe best “ie kei ramen” I’ve ever tried
Best Yokohama Ramen ever! The chef always serves incredibly high quality ramen with rich broth and fresh ingredients. I don’t know how many hours he stew that thick pork broth but I believe at least it’s one night. I remember, a couple of years ago, at the last day in December, he still kept putting pork bones to the stockpots, while I was the last person of the day. This meant he had an intent to stew the broth during 4-day year-end Holidays. You may feel it’s a bit salty, though it’s a characteristic of Yokohama Ramen, then you should order a rice bowl, which has a great fit with the ramen’s strong taste. Worth to try it even though you’ll face with the fact you gain the weight. Don’t forget adding gingers and onions on the table.
Yokohama Ramen Suehiroya is located along Suehiro Kaido in Chuo Ward, Chiba City. I often pass by this street on my days off, and I thought it was always closed, but it turns out it's closed on Sundays. I thought it was unusual for a restaurant business to be closed on Sundays. I was imagining how wonderful it would be to see a restaurant owner enjoying his Sunday off. Apparently, Suehiroya is truly a legendary restaurant that leads Chiba's Iekei Ramen. This is a genuine shop that has been in business long before the recent Iekei boom. Apparently it's a very popular store with people waiting in line when it opens.
