I love the miso aburi chasu ramen here! If you love miso ramen this will be one of your favorites. My peeve with most miso based ramens is theyre usually too sweet. Not this one! And the charred chashu adds a sharp nuiance which elevates the creamy richness of the soy! The veges are fried in the same char oil, flashed fried in high heat, softning and sweating out its sweetness and umami, whilst retaining the veges cruchy backbone. Chashu could be less fatty... but then again its chashu!

This was the first ramen shop we hit when we landed in Japan. It was within walking distance to the hotel and we enjoyed it. The menu is all Japanese but we did not have too much issues picture ordering. The soy based ramen we ate was delicious. The prices were reasonable and we were full when we left. Seating was different for us, take off your shoes and sit at the table in legless chairs on the floor cross legged, but I guess we could have just sat at the couter lol. Worth a visit.

The ramen I ate for the first time in Japan was super delicious! ! On time! ! !
