I'm impressed by the ramen that is so typical of Choshi! I visited for lunch on a weekday. This is a ramen shop that caught my attention based on reviews. It's located right next to the station, but if you come by car, you'll need to use a nearby coin parking lot. Inside the restaurant, there are mainly table seats, so you can eat in an open atmosphere. Order Umi Ramen with local fish rice for 1000 yen The soup is light but delicious with the flavor of the seafood. Toppings such as swordfish and seaweed also bring out the goodness of the soup! It is recommended to eat local fish rice with soup. This is also delicious! I wanted to make takikomi rice with Umi ramen soup.

Today I was working on site in Choshi, so for lunch in between, I visited ``Mendokoro Umi'', which had pre-opened on January 16th after relocating🚙💨 This time, I came to see you after hearing that the store was relocating, but it was my first visit in a year and a half since my last visit. The menu...used to be only one choice, but now they also have miso💡 However, I didn't hesitate and ordered "Umi ramen with local fish rice for 1000 yen"🐟 At first glance, I looked at the interior of the store, which looked like a beach house, and checked out the table seasonings lined up with Ichimi and Shichimi. I felt like the fish stock was more effective than the last time I had it~✨ Medium-thin curly noodles also fit the soup 👍 The tuna chashu was well balanced and I finished the 🍜😋 Next was minced local fish rice, which is delicious on its own... After all, adding the soup makes for a rich fish chazuke 🎶 It’s been a while since I last saw you, but it was very delicious😆 Thank you for the gift of vegetables on the way home 🙏

The local fish rice that comes with it is also delicious. The ramen is delicious just as it is, but you can also enjoy changing it up with the seasonings provided. I would like to visit you again.
