Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan｜Chinrai

About 15 years ago, I worked at a nearby stand and used to eat here often. When the generation changed, there was a change in taste. It has transcended time and now tastes like it did back then. The eggplant miso that makes you think, ``This is it!'' is exquisite. The heat burns your mouth and the rice disappears quickly. The eggplant soaks in the dark sauce, and you can eat it by pouring the thick black sauce that soaks into the eggplant over rice! There will be some sauce left over, so add some extra sauce to it before eating. The fried rice is not crumbly but moist. This is home-style fried rice. There is also a wide variety of menu items such as ramen and gyoza. Local farming couples and working craftsmen enjoy drinking bubbly drinks in the middle of the day. Many of the staff are friendly ladies, so it's probably a Chinese restaurant where you can enjoy set meals without pretentiousness.

The menu and atmosphere are a little different from the Chinrai I usually go to. There are various set menus, and I think the value and volume are the best. This time I had mapo noodles, and they were delicious. . . 😋 The soup is so creamy until the end that it's almost addictive ❕😅 I would like to visit you again.

I'm addicted to the stamina ramen here, and when I first ate it, I thought, ``Where's the stamina?'' That's what I felt, but it's a great restaurant where you can get change for 1000 yen with two large pieces of grilled pork in a sweet and salty soup and half rice.I've been eating here for 15 years, and I never get tired of it. I always order the ramen, it's cheap so I recommend it to my family.
