Mito, Ibaraki, Japan｜Cotton Pot

Loved the pure chicken broth ramen!! It was thick, comforting, yet unoily - I managed to single-handedly finish the entire bowl of noodles along with the soup! The dried sardine broth ramen was good too - we could clearly taste the sardine in the soup 👍🏻 The meat slices were also really soft, and had a smoked flavour to them. While there was a queue, it moved quickly and our food arrived soon after we were seated

Quick service, and nice and easy with the ticket machine (use Google Translate if you can't read Japanese scripts). Ramen was light tasting, with a nice smokiness from the ham. A bit different to what I've had before, in a very good way. I would definitely eat here again if back visiting Mito.

~40 min waiting time was worth it. Broth was light but tasty and refreshing. Will go back again to try other items.
