Best local seafood restaurant in Kamaishi

■ 2023/09 visit Visited on Sunday around 11am. There are four parking spaces on the west side of the store. It's a bit narrow, so we recommend parking in the parking space (free of charge) on the street in front of the station. Lunch gets crowded from around 11:30. Payment is by cash only and the property is closed on Mondays. The inside of the restaurant has a retro Showa atmosphere, with 7 tables and 2 small raised areas. Today, we had "Backfat Ramen" (960 yen), "Sanma Tsukemen" (980 yen), "Mini Egg Fried Rice" (270 yen), and "Jumbo Gyoza (3 pieces)" (370 yen). The backfat ramen was hearty, surprisingly light, and delicious until the end. Adding garlic is recommended. The saury tsukemen has a modest volume and a slightly sweet dipping sauce. I think gyoza is a specialty dish, so I had to try it. The mini rice dishes are also delicious, so go for them if you have room in your stomach. I think that it is a good store that I can recommend. If it's your first time, I think a ramen + gyoza or gyoza set meal is better.
