A diner has opened near my house. This is a store where the manager is from Fukushima. It's been 12 years since the March 11th earthquake, and I lost a close friend to the tsunami, so I have a connection to Tohoku, and I myself became a refugee after returning home from work. I came to the store to prevent it from fading and to liven up Tohoku. For the first time in a while, I wanted to eat the sweet potato stew that I ate at a drive-in in Fukushima when I was working as a long-distance unchan. I didn't eat the set meal, but instead went for a la carte and drinks. It's a homely shop, so everyone should definitely give it a try.
