I ordered the katsudon (medium) and was satisfied with the hearty set meal for 850 yen. You can adjust the sauce to suit your taste, as there are additional sauces available, and the dish was delicious to the very end. The cutlet was tender and the sauce was just right, so it was very delicious. The miso soup has a lot of ingredients, and the cabbage also has a style where you can freely choose the dressing 👍 It was a store that reflected customer feedback and an atmosphere that is rare these days, and made me want to come back again. A katsudon specialty restaurant loved by local citizens. There is no parking lot, so we parked in the shopping street's communal parking lot on the north side of the store, which is a 2-3 minute walk. (Behind Nakano Police Station) The key to this katsudon is the soft, thinly fried cutlet.It looks like a katsudon at a certain restaurant in Fukui or Niigata, and the sauce comes on a separate plate, so you can adjust it yourself. The sauce itself isn't as sweet as Fukui's, but is more similar to Niigata's, and I'm glad that the cabbage comes on a separate plate. And miso soup with plenty of toppings gives me a comforting nostalgic feeling, like the taste of my parents' home when I go back to the countryside. Best of all, it's a great price for a standard serving of 850 yen. Katsudon (katsudon) costs 1,300 yen in Fukui and 1,000 yen in Niigata, but this one comes with cabbage and special miso soup for 850 yen, so it's a restaurant that deserves more attention. The exterior is the same as it was in the Showa era, and the inside of the store is also neglected and remains the same as in the Showa era. I waited at the store for about 15 minutes until the owner opened the store. Order immediately after entering. The katsudon was served in about 10 minutes. Although it is called katsudon, it looks like fillet cutlet bowl, Personally, I might prefer this one. It is cooked very soft and easy to eat. However, the extra serving had a large amount of rice and was difficult to eat. We also added plenty of our special sauce. What surprised me was the miso soup. Lots of ingredients. In fact, it's enough to make one dish. Almost all ingredients. When you come to a set meal restaurant, Meat and carbohydrates tend to be the focus, but Looking at the amount of vegetables in cabbage and miso soup, I think I can get enough vegetables. I love shops like this.
