Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima, Japan｜Shirokujaku Shokudo

The sauce was very good. The tonkatsu was unique. Staffs were nice.

We arrived around 10:30 and there were two groups in line. The menu is simple and only has sauce katsudon. There are two cutlets that are so big that they pop out of the bowl. Although the cutlet is flat, there is no fat in it, so it is delicious. The store staff are very polite and pleasant. As a request, I would appreciate it if you could provide a tissue box so I can wipe off the sauce that drips from the cutlet. Parking lot is small.

I had something to go to Aizu on my day off on weekdays, so I came here for lunch for the first time! I was worried that it would be difficult to park on weekdays because there was a line and there were only a few parking lots on holidays, but I managed to find one space available and was able to park there. When I entered, it was around noon and there were a few empty seats, but as time passed, more and more customers started arriving and the place quickly filled up. I'm glad I came early lol The rice bowl arrived shortly after ordering! A sauce cutlet that sticks out of the bowl just as the reviews say! The cutlet is thin and has a strong flavor, so you can use your chopsticks more and more. I devoured it in no time. It was delicious! The customer service was also polite and good. Unfortunately, the price is a little high... But it's definitely worth going and trying it!
