This is a set meal and izakaya restaurant near Shinmei Dori in Aizuwakamatsu, and I always visit it for lunch. For lunch, there are daily specials as well as standard menu items, but generally the portions are large enough to fill you up at a reasonable price. My personal recommendation is the daily set meal, and I visited almost every day when I was in Aizu. The daily set meal comes with vegetables, soup, main course, rice, and dessert for an exceptional price of 650 yen. The customer service at the restaurant is also great, and I feel comfortable eating there. However, it gets quite crowded around noon, so you may have to wait a long time after ordering, so please visit around 11am or give yourself plenty of time. There are also tatami rooms and tables, so you can visit in groups of several people or by yourself.
