Osaka, Japan｜源元食堂

We were craving Hong Kong cafe style food, and thanks to Google, we found this gem. We ordered the noodle set meals. The food was very authentic HK style, according to my HK born hubby. The French toast with peanut butter is the best I've ever had. The couple operating this restaurant is super friendly. Note that they only accept cash. We will definitely visit again the next time we're in Osaka.

Owners are so nice! But besides that, I think their egg tarts are the best I’ve ever had. It had a traditional crust and the filling is extremely eggy (lol) and soft. Love how strong their milk tea is as well. Cash only. It’s a small store with limited items but it’s definitely authentic and prices are reasonable. And they even do moon cakes during mid autumn festival. I guarantee you it’s tastier than the big brand company. Not to mention, it’s cheaper too

This is a place where you can taste some traditional Hong Kong food and snack. They are dedicated to replicate the original Hong Kong taste. If you like Hong Kong, you would enjoy the time here as much as I did!
