Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan｜Shirasuya

This little restaurant is located a short walk away from the main stations in Enoshima. I recommend that you order the mix variations of shirasu. I have had shirasu before, but this was hands down the best so far. You can taste the various ways it can be prepared, though out of all of them the best variation was the one that had been ?soaked? in a sauce and was brownish. Obviously, all the other variations were great too. A tad bit expensive, but it was so good that I did not even care.

Lovely place for fantastic fresh seafood. Popular spot indeed with excellent shirasu dishes, sashimi and a fabulous aji fry!

I heard that small sardines are a specialty of the Kamakura area, and that they can be eaten raw here, so I found this restaurant near Yoshikoshi Fishing Port to try. As soon as I saw this small restaurant at the intersection, I liked it inexplicably, probably because it is not as cramped and rustic as ordinary small restaurants. When you enter the store, you will see a menu full of pseudonyms, and few Chinese characters, which will make it difficult for people who don't understand Japanese. Fortunately, for foreigners, the clerk will give an English menu with pictures, which basically solves the problem. Including boiled, soaked, fried and raw small sardines set meal is the first, this kind of whitebait is like whitebait, different methods have different tastes, and the taste is naturally different. In the end, I think the taste of sashimi is really good. When you come to Enoshima to play, you must not miss the famous products here, and the price is quite close to the people.
