When I walk around on Saturdays and Sundays, I sometimes have lunch past 2 o'clock, which makes it difficult to find a restaurant. Last time I passed by this area, I found out that this restaurant doesn't have a lunch break, so I was hoping to get a chance to try it. It must have existed 30 years ago when I was using Yamate Station, but I had never been inside at that time, so I decided to take the plunge this time. The fried food looked delicious, so I ordered a fried horse mackerel set meal and a bottled beer, and also added fried oysters. As everyone has said, fried horse mackerel is thick, fluffy, and very delicious. This might be my first time having such delicious fried horse mackerel. Well, the fried oysters were plump and went well with the beer. I'll go again if I want to eat fried food. By the way, this time I visited after 2:30pm.

Yamate Shokudo is located about 3 minutes walk from Yamate Station! An old-fashioned diner! I ordered omelet rice and fried horse mackerel, and the fried horse mackerel was fluffy and delicious for the first time in a while, and the omelet rice was definitely at the classic keccha price!!
