The food are very delicious, the service cordial and attentive. The restaurant has the kind of cozy feeling that make you feel very welcome. The highlight is the rice with 3 varieties that you could ask for a refill. It is so fluffy and pillowy and oh so satisfying. They provide you with a mini ochazuke and free flowing hot/cold genmaicha, sencha and hojicha that you could make it yourself as well. Highly recommend but should reserve in advance to avoid long wait.

The three kinds of rice have their own characteristics and are very delicious. The steak is just right. It is the first time I see a small device that can grind sesame seeds. If you don't reserve a table in advance, you'll usually have to queue.

Loved the experience at Zojirushisyokudo. The rice, the highlight, is cooked to perfection, the small dishes perfect condiments! I had the roasted beef and my companions had the beef cutlets, fish and duck-all of which were delicious! Enjoyed my dinner very much!
