A lovely shop, with a lovely owner and lovely food. We had a great lunch after visiting the castle and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and the food comforting. We could continue our journey around biwa lake fully relaxed and satisfied afterwards.

I ordered Oyakodon and Pork Katsudon. The meals are delicious, and cold tea is provided. The proprietress and her family are very kind. The store feels like an old-fashioned Japanese house, and the air-conditioning temperature is also very comfortable. I recommend eating in Hikone Castle.
