More Comments at Google MapOn a leisurely weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Yoshijima-ya and I must say it was a delightful experience. What made it truly special was their shrimp dish - an absolute masterpiece. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, tender yet retaining that satisfying crunch. But what truly took this dish to another level was the addition of an incredible egg. The combination of flavors and textures left my taste buds in awe. If you’re a fan of shrimp, this place is an absolute must-visit. You won’t be disappointed. As for the ambiance, Yoshijima-ya is located on the second floor, offering a clean and inviting space to savor your meal. However, it’s important to note that the same level of cleanliness may not extend to the restroom. Nevertheless, the star of the show here is undoubtedly the food, and I highly recommend trying their shrimp dish for a culinary experience you won’t soon forget.
We had lunch here while visiting the area. There are not many options, but we were guided here and told to get their specialty - broad noodles. We were not disappointed. The soup we had was generous portions with plenty of fresh veggies and chicken. The service was fast and attentive. There are plenty of options on the menu to meet most tastes.
We stopped here for a quick lunch. There's a lovely older lady there who takes your order and brings out the food she was very helpful and accommodation for me being a vegetarian. I had a lovely big pile of spaghetti! Very tasty. My bother said he's meal was one of the best he had in japan! He went with a local broth type meal (Sorry cant remember the name). Over all great food, lovely service right by the lake with decent prices.
