Kofu, Yamanashi, Japan｜Gori Shokudo

A lot of dishes and all reasonably priced with good portions. Menu is all in Japanese with no pictures so that's something to take into account if going.

This is the store I always go to when I have a business trip to Kofu! A popular restaurant in the city, it gets crowded at lunchtime and on weekends. Since the parking lot is parallel parking, you will have to cooperate by changing vehicles when it is crowded. As for the taste, the rice goes well with a very strong seasoning! The prices are low, so I often see groups of students. The store clerk was also bright and gave a good impression. If I were to point out a problem, it would be about the parking lot mentioned above, which is crowded at popular stores! This is my favorite store!

Visited around 15:00 on 6/17 (Sat) As expected, it's not the busy time of day. There was no waiting time. There were 4 other customers besides me! I had previously heard that the amount was relatively large. It is true that the amount of rice is more than a typical standard serving. I think it was a lot. Even when I looked at the menu, I couldn't imagine what it would taste like. I ordered some food and it was good! I really liked the taste. Pork sauce bowl 760 yen (tax included) It tastes like a pork version of yakitori bowl. It also came with miso soup, takuan, and cold tofu, so I was satisfied. It's easy to get to because it's open from noon to night! I'm not a resident of Yamanashi Prefecture, so I probably won't be able to visit again. It was a store that I wish I had in my hometown.
