The curry katsudon here is the best in Japan. Great atmosphere too. Excellent lunch menu. Simple but stellar.

Half the seats were filled when the store opened. I got a sauce cutlet with a soy sauce flavor. Next time I'd like to have curry.

You can eat katsudon with soup sauce. People who like soup will find the taste addictive. You can choose from 1-3 grades of cutlet depending on how much you want to eat that day. I think it's easy to eat even for people who don't eat much. The warmth of the round pork cutlet, which is fried to order, and the gentle flavor of the soup are both delicious. When you pass by the store, you can smell the delicious smell of fried food and sweet sauce. During the day, many customers are office workers and students, and the store sometimes closes early due to out of stock. All menu items come with pickles and miso soup, which is a great deal. Although it is fried, it is a very healthy meal. Tea is available as a free drink, so you can enjoy tea with your meal or coffee after your meal. The bookshelf is stocked with relaxing books by Momoko Sakura and Banana Yoshimoto, so you can read them while you wait. In the evening, it is open as a night market where you can enjoy board games and dinner. Soup Katsu-Don is the best dish for Soup-Meal lovers. You can choose depends on how much you wanna eat pork cutlets in 3 grades(there’s also extra rice option) They offer free drinks in the middle of the room, you can have a cup of tea(Hojicha and Oolong, ice and hot) with meal, coffee after the lunch. Taste and the concept is just like in a cozy friend's house, it's a nice place to eat when you wanna relax and warm up both heart and stomach. Inside the restaurant is So cozy mood, cozy books(Banana Yoshimoto or Momoko Sakura etc) through beautiful vintage furniture you can see owner’s good sense.
