Ota, Gunma, Japan｜Shichigo Shokudo

Good for a quick lunch. Standard Japanese fare, good katsu. Staff is very friendly and interested in foreigners.

A retro restaurant in front of Ota Station. It's fast and cheap. The Shichigo set for 750 yen includes sauce cutlet bowl, mini udon noodles, salad, and shinko. I think office workers who stop by Ota Station on a business trip often stop by for lunch or a drink while waiting for the train because it's right in front of the station. The volume is huge, so it's suitable for young men. It has a lot of oil and a strong taste, so women and people with limited appetites may not be able to finish it all. please note.

The sauce katsudon is delicious. I also like the atmosphere of a cafeteria in front of the station. Cospa loses to chain stores, but if you know retro, please check it out.
