I passed by when I wanted to eat dinner, so I went in. The atmosphere of a town cafeteria will stimulate your appetite. Among the daily menus of 800 yen each, I ordered the "Hamo fried set meal" because it was rare. It was the first experience in my life to eat plump and soft fried pike conger! It was delicious The fried conger conger had a light texture and was easy to eat, filling and very satisfying. Given the atmosphere of the restaurant, I felt quite out of place and embarrassed to be a woman in my 20s entering the restaurant alone, but as long as I wasn't dressed up, I didn't have to blend in, and the food was delicious, so I'd like to go back...lol I was sold on it because the reviews said it looked delicious, but I'm glad I went. Tokiwa Shokudo is a long-established restaurant located along the old National Route 2. It is located close to Kurashiki Station, and I finally visited this restaurant after many years as a BM. Although it is located on the corner of a small intersection, it has a narrow frontage and an unobtrusive appearance. Although the interior of the store is small, it is well-organized and comfortable, there is no chaotic atmosphere, and there is a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, so many people are likely to enjoy a drink at night ^^ I ordered the tempura set meal (700 yen) from the daily menu, and it arrived after about 10 minutes of waiting. It's a huge serving of tempura ^^; Two small bowls, pickled vegetables, and a large serving of rice by default! There are 8 types of 9 types of tempura, 2 shrimp tempura, shiitake mushrooms, green pepper, lotus root, pumpkin, sweet potato, and chikuwa. ．． ．． I wonder what the other one was (･◇･｡)? It was freshly fried and served with Worcestershire sauce, but I had it lightly drizzled with soy sauce! The rice, miso soup, and small side dishes were also of a high standard, and the restaurant was crowded with local businessmen at lunchtime.
