More Comments at Google MapI personally recommend this Sabu-chan steamed bun shop if you’re looking for local specialties in Maebashi. The atmosphere is very good.
The sweetness of the fried manju is just right and delicious! Yakisoba also has plenty of ingredients and is delicious! The fresh incense that came with the set also tasted great! Looks like a lot of famous people are coming! The staff at the store were also very kind! The parking lot has a cone placed at the entrance and is very narrow and can only fit two cars. Is it difficult to leave and enter? Is there another parking lot?
This time, I visited "Sabu-chan's Fried Manju" in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture. I was interested in going to this restaurant when I saw it on the TV program "Omoumai", so I took this as a chance and decided to visit it. I arrived an hour before closing time, so it was just the last minute. That's what I thought, but they welcomed me happily. The store's parking lot can barely accommodate two regular cars, so you can only park two cars of any kind, so it might be a problem during lunch hours. When you walk into the store, you'll see that it's popular and famous for its huge portions, so there's a parade of colored paper inside the store! It seems like there are quite a few famous people there. This was my first visit to the store, so I decided to wait and see what happened (lol). I ordered ``large yakisoba'' and my partner ordered ``A Lunch'' yakisoba (medium) and fried manju (2 pieces). As for yakisoba, most yakisoba in Gunma has quite thick noodles, but this yakisoba used noodles of normal thickness, which we were very happy about. I don't think it's suitable for customers who want thick noodles like Ota Yakisoba and dark sauce. The taste is really delicious! In my opinion, it was the most delicious thing I've eaten in Gunma. My partner also said it was delicious. It was so delicious that I was curious about what kind of spices and sauces were used, and when I asked, I was even more surprised❗I heard that they only use a special sauce and no other seasonings. I was surprised when it happened. I was impressed that there are such delicious sauces in the world. The yakisoba was delicious, but my partner's favorite was the ``yakimanju.'' The fried manju is definitely the best I've ever eaten!! ️ Gunma's fried manju tends to be quite watery, but the fried manju here doesn't get dry in your mouth, it melts in your mouth and is delicious! What's more, the sweet sauce on the manju is super delicious! Probably because they use starch syrup, the cooled part of the sauce becomes crispy and delicious! I asked the shop owner, ``Why aren't the fried manju here crispy? When I asked him, ``The house is steamed twice, so it doesn't get dry🎵.'' I'm so glad I heard that. At other restaurants, the buns are steamed only once, so they're dry. My partner was already boasting that he wants to eat more of the fried manju next time. (lol) Next time I would like to try ``Tokumori Yakisoba''. (lol) If you are interested, why not come and try some delicious yakisoba and delicious fried manju? (lol) Recommended!
