More Comments at Google MapExquisite takoyaki & main store-made octopus tempura bento Since the nearby Otake store was closed, I visited Itsukaichi main store. Daihachi Takoyaki, Vegetable Takoyaki, and the eat-in environment were all perfect. And, the ``takoten bento'' I encountered for the first time was even better than takoyaki. It was worth coming to the main store. It's really a surprise. Takoyaki at the store and Takoten bento at home are recommended with over 5 stars.
It is located in the middle of the Coin-dori shopping street in Itsukaichi. There is a parking lot for about 5 cars, but it may be difficult to turn around if you have a large car. The store is beautiful as it was renovated about 7-8 years ago. It used to look like a shack. Anyway, this will be our main store. Personally, I have been eating here for over 30 years since its establishment in 1981, so I feel safe. As the name suggests, Daihachi's takoyaki is about the octopus. The dough is fluffy and the taste is modest, which is completely opposite to the fried octopus that has become mainstream in recent years. Both eat-in and take-out are available, but please try I would like you to try it for eat-in. I'm not the type of person who gets burned, so I can't say enough about the joy of stuffing my face with freshly made piping hot food. (It's also good to have beer) Although it is a competitive area with many takoyaki shops in the neighborhood, it is rare to see the number of customers drop off on Saturdays and Sundays, so I hope this shop will continue to work hard for a long time. Please note that prices have been revised since July 2020 due to rising raw material costs. 6 pieces from 580 yen
Puri Puri Octopus Hello. Akashiyaki is elegant and delicious. The yellow egg-filled skin that gently wraps the deity goes well with the soup stock. Daihachi takoyaki, the signature dish, is also good. Since the taste of the skin is refined, I personally like to eat it with a little soy sauce rather than a strong okonomiyaki sauce. Daihachi takoyaki is also sold at the supermarket Fresta. This is also delicious, but if you taste freshly baked at the shop, it's even better. Instead of octopus, there are shrimp daihachi with shrimp and squid and mayonnaise daihachi, and it seems that the price has been reduced recently.
