Kawakita is a incredible place with incredible service and delicious products!! Authentic European type butcher with home made products and delicious sausages, corned beef, aspic , is osso buco etc.

Kawakita san is a legend! You can find all sorts of imported products (cheeses, pickles, salad dressings, etc.) along with a wide variety of meat (excellent imported lamb as well). Remember to buy some sausages when you're here, they're made in-house. Have a chat with Mr. Kawakita and be sure to check out his own artwork throughout the store. Definitely worth a visit!

Go here for the real deal butcher. After studying in Strasbourg Kawakita returned to make daily probability 12 kinds of sausage, his own bacon, marinated spare ribs, wagyu, a deli, the works. This is all not to mention he is an excellent oil painter.
