I was greeted at the door by one of the resident Golden Retrievers, never a warmer welcome. I popped in to see if I could find a birthday cake for a friend, I found that as well as a kind smile, a delicious, warm cafe latte and of course I wasn’t leaving without trying cake #13 a lemon meringue pie (it didn’t disappoint) Luckily the 3km walk back to my accommodation should just about balance out the calories! Probably not, but I shall tell myself it will…🙃

The decoration of the restaurant is so nice. We ordered a vegan pizza and lemonade. Pizza was super delicious. They also have two huge golden retrievers.

I ordered a birthday cake for my friend’s birthday. The woman taking my order on the phone was patient and kind and able to help me in English. They did a beautiful job on the cake. 😍 They even provided birthday candles. Such a sweet gesture. My friend loves it. Thanks so much!
